Microsoft delays Windows Vista again

It is indeed a trivial kind of news to me (and to most IT folks), what really attracted me was the statement given by the representative from Microsoft regarding the delays:

Vista is delayed because it wants to improve overall quality, particularly in security

Does it mean overall quality wasn't initially planned?

Hahaha!!!

Good one. Well, we all know that M$ has always been "ship first, fix later". So, you can be assured that the quality has been so-so but workable.

I have a bad feeling that Vista is suffering from "scope creep" because people are coming in to offer new requirements/suggestions on a product. If they keep going on like this, we'll never be able to push forward for a deployment.

So, where are they going to draw the line?
