Why some comments are being ignored?

Just had the UI designer stopped by my desk and I took the opportunity to ask her if she has any comment on the UI design of this Weblog. She answered that generally the UI is OK but there are still places can be improved, like:
1) Put more colors
2) Try not to write programming stuff because she can't understand most of it

Hahaha!!!!

I thought the main theme of your weblog was on software design and programming stuff.

Anyway, have a look at my blog. I put up something on Effective Professional Blogging and your blog fits the TAFFY blog pretty good.

About the UI, well, we software engineers/programmers were never good with the design thing. We just make it function, once in a while, maybe you might find someone who has a good eye and do a nice UI design but that's kind of rare.

I'm about to change the UI of my blog as well... So, right now, I'm looking at the current template I've got and its really ugly but functional.
