Share your UML diagram

Evaluating a few UML modeling tools for the past few days has forced myself to learn XMI (XML Metadata Interchange) and it allows me to share my UML diagrams among design tools. Fortunately, the sharing process is almost seamless, presumably you draw your diagrams with standard UML notations.

What are the tools you have evaluated and what's your recoommendation ?

by this far i've been using only rational rose, argouml, poseidon uml, visual paradigm and java studio enterprise. if you're being serious in uml design, i think rose is still relatively better. java studio enterprise is good if you're doing java projects. argo, poseidon and vp community free edition are good for beginners. i find all mentioned tools are not having much different in terms of user friendliness.

Hmmm...

Agree with you. Rose still one of the better products out there. However, sometimes, we have no choice but to go for the free/community editions because of cost contraints.

Anyway, have you tried this out? StarUML? Looks a little bit like Rose and has the features to import Rose files for viewing. The good part of StarUML is that it supports up to UML2.0.
