Did not expect that there is so much differences on
CVSNT security issues between Linux and Windows. On Linux, what we all have to master is generally editing some config files like "passwd" and "config" in order to administer the user rights. But on Windows, we can actually ignore those config files but using the Windows security facility to manipulate user access control.
OK, next we'll be deciding whether to migrate the existing codebase to the CVS or apply the CVS only to coming projects. Again, it will be some lengthy decision making processes involved.
If you're a developer of existing project, would you like to change your current behavior of using source code control? The positive response could be the only thing to justify the migration.
