NetBeans IDE 5.5 and netbeans.org

The news that excited me today is the new look of netbeans.org website and the final release of NetBeans IDE 5.5 is out. After using 5.5 beta for months, I can't wait to experience what's new in the final stable release.

i just installed version 5 two weeks ago and now got new version ar? how to upgrade?

Yep.. netbeans website has gotten more user-friendly.

Take a look @ eclipse.org. The navigation is still unfriendly even after a major revamp on their look-and-feel.

Anyway, i'm curious how netbeans 5.5 is like. I'm still a fan of Eclipse tho... ^^

i'm an eclipse fan too, as an IDE, i think it's better on windows and i see its documentation is more comprehensive like msdn, but i find it somewhat hard to configure web app compared to netbeans. by the way i just realized eclipse.org has a different look, when did it change?
